I come from the land of the ice and snow (Buffalo, New York) but grew up fat ‘n healthy in the warm heartland of The Gump. It’s where I call home–a city I cherish, and am proud to be able to make more beautiful every day through my work with Stamp. It’s a city of overwhelming possibilities, and one I’ve been captivated by as I’ve seen it grow alongside me from elementary school to college. For a daydreamer like me, it’s promising to see a city so rife for transformation, and I’m so fortunate that my work puts me at the heart of it all–truly the opportunity of a lifetime.

Best advice received:
“Work until your idols become your rivals.”
Why I love the business:
The extraordinary opportunity to be rewarded for thinking outside of the box, being imaginative and innovative, and never settling for the straightforward solution.
Favorite travel/vacation experience:
In the summer of 2012 I had the privilege of traveling to Italy with the AUM University Honors Program. And I can assure you, standing in the enormous shadow of the Roman Coliseum, or staring up at the oculus of the tremendous Pantheon, are both experiences impossible to convey through the pages of a book. The trip gave me an intensely intimate appreciation for such a rich history and culture. Walking those cobbled streets forever captivated me to consider where history collides with the contemporary, and where the past survives along with the present.
I want to Stamp out:
The Phantom Menace.
Something between Tame Impala, Justice, Father John Misty, and Kendrick Lamar.
Once aspired to be…
A stegosaurus, and I crawled around the house eating the leaves off of our potted plants to prove it.
Where I like to make my mark:
On people–through stories, collaboration, or creativity that inspires, entertains, excites, or challenges them.
My spare time is spent:
Binging TV, LARPing, tabletop gaming, or burning whatever’s on the stove.
My travel essential:
A fresh pair of shades and an inhuman amount of sunscreen to match.
Trashy TV addiction:
I confess to watching eight hours of River Monsters in one day. Give me a tub of ice cream and any show where they hunt ghosts, Bigfoot, or crop circles and I wouldn’t leave the couch if there was a fire.
Back in the day I won a 70s costume contest in platform shoes and a rented afro–it was unquestionably the high-point of my life.
“Youth is easily deceived because it is quick to hope.”
GEEK IS CHIC.
I ruin everything I cook on the stove.
Disgusting vegetarian food, bad jokes, constant movie references, and whatever my cat wants so he’ll shut up.
